"Tootie" is 5 months old today. Pretty amazing how fast the time goes. This means Kevin has been home for 5 months too! It sure is crazy how slow 7 months went while Kevin was gone and I awaited this little man and even crazier that it feels like just yesterday he got home and Cole was born.
Cole is a sweet little baby! He loves watching his brothers run, play, laugh, and fight. He seriously will follow them around a room with his eyes. He likes to play down on the floor now too. He has mastered rolling both ways and can scoot himself around in a circle. It probably helps to have two crazy brothers playing around him, giving him motivation to move. He loves being held. More than any of our babies! And of course, if we are holding him all the time, we are kissing him constantly. That's the best thing about having babies around...cuddling and kissing on them!
He's a pretty good sleeper too...when we are at home! Trips anywhere, different sleeping arrangements, anything throws him (and me) off. He HAS to be in bed by 6:00 or he just isn't happy at all. He then wakes up around 10:00 for a bottle, then he's out until about 5-6:00 a.m. He sleeps a little more after that then takes a short morning nap and a LONG afternoon nap. I think he's averaging about 18 hours of sleep a day still! Eat and sleep, eat and sleep. His new sleep position...I think its courtesy of daddy (Kevin sleeps with his knee up like that too).
That must be why the Dr called him a "tank" and "moose" at his 4 month checkup. He was 18lbs and 26 inches. 97th% on height and 90th% on weight. Its funny though, because our boys always start high on the chart then slowly start to taper down. Wonder if he will meet his brothers at the 25th% for both in a few months? Not so sure, since I'm fairly certain he is the first to need a significant size jump in clothes...that outfit he has on is size 12 months!
