Game night!

Ethan has been working on sight words. He knows about 38 words and then there is a pile that he continuously misses because they don't follow traditional rules. We quiz him at dinner every night. The other night, we said if he could get half of those ones right, we'd go get ice cream (ummm...more because we wanted ice cream, duh!) Well, he responded by saying "I don't want ice cream, can I pick something else?"

CRAP! No ice cream?

Okay, we will go get ice cream AND do something else. So Ethan decided he wanted to play a game. He got more than half of the leftover words, so we went and got the ice cream that he wanted to just skip in order to play a game. You'd think we never play games when we probably play 2-3 nights a week!

We came home to play Twister Hoopla. A hilariously fun game that Garrett made very difficult for us. You spin a spinner and have to pick up hoops and stick together with them. "Red hip to hip." I got Ethan as a partner and Kevin got Garrett. Yeah, the game play didn't last very long since Garrett was stealing the hoops, throwing them in the air, putting them on his head, etc...

But we had fun anyway!
