Two nights ago, the boys chose the book, Are You My Mother, and were unusually attentive! Garrett didn't try to turn the pages or pull a new book for me to read, or run away...he sat and listened to the whole thing! They were very interested in seeing if the baby bird would find his mother. When we got to the part where the bird finds a crane that he swears is his mother, but soon finds that the crane can only snort at him, he says "You aren't my mother, you are a SNORT," the boys could not stop laughing! We had to read that part about ten times that night and ever since have had to read those few pages before reading their current selection of the night. They laugh just as hard every time and have now began running around yelling SNORT at each other!
